No ganesh bhai, Its not completely inspired from Hollywood movie instead, This film is an adaptation of his Gujarati play 'Kanji Virrudh Kanji' and features him as an atheist . Coincidentally the plot is similar to Australian movie " The Man who Sued God ".

i heard paresh rawal himself tell that the play was inspired from the hollywood film

I don't think Paresh would have said that. Because the play Kanji Virrudh Kanji is 3-4 years old and Paresh has himself acted in Gujrati as well as Hindi version of this play which has already completed 150 shows.

It also includes influences of Paresh Rawal’s Hindi play “Krishan vs Kanhaiya”
