Here is another article which gives the point of view of the CEO himself, he is still stating that we are moving to MPEG4 to create bandwidth ''while we wait for additional capacity' (which they will say till i have grand kids) and spending Rs. 500 Crore but he has again skipped the issue as to when will he complete the MPEG4 Migration as his previous deadline of June-July 2014 has long passed and its still not done. I still suspect that CEO does not have intention to increase bandwidth as tat will force him to add new channels.

From the article I quote "Tata Sky surrendered its 12 transponders and migrated to a foreign satellite."
But when did that happen and to which foreign satellite they migrated :rolleyes:

The above article is fully based on that CAG report which IndianMascot Bro. already shared yesterday. And well catch Sanjeev Bro. Also written that TS is totally declined to shift back at Insat SAT.

Now question is in which Satellite TS is working if we trust the above article. Also when they moved ?

Tere can be 2 conditions, first is that they must have surrendered means ended the contract with Insat and will not renew the contact thus moving to a new satellite or secondly they must have signed contract wit a new satellite and is right now in the process of testing it and as it happened with airtel they will start migration to new satellite aligning the customer's dishes to new direction plus in the meanwhile till it is completed tey will use Insat 4A and New Satellite simultaneously just like Airtel beamed signal thru Insat 4CR and SES 7 till migration was completed. Let us wait n watch

Yes I too think the same that they have surrendered their 12 tps and are migrating to new satellite but the question is which 12 tps are they telling about is it from GSat 10 and which foreign satellite have they migrated to and why have they not disclosed it yet
