No point to move on GSAT 10 if they do this then future will be dark as ts need to operate with only 12 tp minimum next 10 yrs as no satellite schedule to launch that direction and dos not allow any foreign sat in its co ordinate 83

Following is an eye-opener from the news report.

"CAG also stated that the prices of transponders from foreign satellites were increased by 5 to 33 per cent over one to six year period, while INSAT users paid the same charge for over six to 10 years. When the DoS did decide to raise prices by 15 per cent, it was never carried out."

That means TS enjoyed pricing advantage as compared to other DTH for years.
When the cost of migration to mpeg4 & moving to other foreign sat is taken into account, that pricing advantage seems to be disappearing.
Now I think Nagpal must be worried man & regretting.......

As far as Isro/DoS is concerned all responsible persons should be fired & put behind bars just like govt acted in the case of Devas corp deal.

TS obviously enjoying the prices no doubt. Low TPs Prices, High Subscription Charge, Less channels which obviously increases the revenues too.

I was totally shocked and amazed when i called TS care for removing "Actve Music" addon. When i told him to remove, he first argued with this packs benefits and some blah blah.. But when i seriously ordered him to remove it completely despite having so called features, he reduced Actve Music addon pack price from rs. 49 to rs 24 only specially for me!!!!
I was shocked by that cause no other DTH do these type of cheap things for preventing users from unsubscribing and addons.!!
this shows TS's real face ...they are looting people completely by Overpricing.

Entire GSAT 10 will be wasted if Tata Sky didn't go for it. So, why not they keep GSAT 10 and go with foreign satellite for additional space ?
