C Band:-

"Nearly all C-band communication satellites use the band of frequencies from 3.7 to 4.2 GHz for their downlinks, and the band of frequencies from 5.925 to 6.425 GHz for their uplinks. "

Ku Band:-

" it ranges from 12-18 GHz "

Values are according to wiki. Most countries having different values of uplinking and downlinking of Ku Band.

So only difference in frequency but way of working is same so only operating equipments are different. In short satellite is a mirror, it reflect whatever you provide.
We often see that c band split in small part means no gap in frequency for ex. Freq 3730, freq 3738 here this rule also apply for Ku band too. It can be split like freq 10960, freq 10968 means one 36 MHz tp can be split according to usage either its c band or Ku band

Ku Band works in high frequency hence the biggest disadvantage is weather its affects the working a lot where C Band not.

At least now TS should come clear with their intentions & inform the public about their future plans & prospects. They are hiding the facts from public like a state secret but now have exposed by CAG.
Just recruiting an army of paid agents to influence internet users won't help TS in long term. So its better late than never so that customers would understand the problems & would rely on TS for future.

I think Tata Sky placed all their bets on completing the MPEG-4 migration. I also recollect my Tata Sky was swapped for an MPEG-4 box free of cost. If they are able to provide all channels with this move then too it should be good. I have read an article which stated Tata Sky spent over Rs. 500 crore to migrate to MPEG-4. This means they have already spent a lot to ensure carriage of additional channels. There is no advantge or benefit incurred by Tata Sky with ISRO's move.

Mpeg4 migration is good move by TS. But don't no why it is stuck now......
If it would have completed on-time, TS could have added more channels.
May be TS decided to move onto other sat so they stopped migration.....

I don't think they have any intention to add "All Channels" which is not bad for revenue point of view. They're migrating whenever require and they will move to other SAT whenever require they won't follow the world but will create new for them.

But This Kind Of Attitude Won't Last Long, Unless They Don't Have Anything "Special", (Maximum HD Channels Like Dish TruHD),

I'm Curious To Know What Is Very Special In Tatasky? (Please Don't Says PQ & AQ)

You can't expect me to say PQ and AQ but proper marketing which keep buzzing them on the market and also bonus to their dealers.
