Its there from a very long time...... I had posted the TP wise breakdown of space on some other forums, here test4 already exists.

No. of channels present: 37 [subtract - magik, hallmark, india news, day night, airtel mov 4, test4]
Also, ( gamezone,kids spc, recharge info,recharge channel= 5x 0.5 ~ 3 channels)
Total space: (37 - 10) + 3 = 27 + 3= 30 channels >> 4 channels space left

hmm.. I m not sure abt the FTA box, as I only have the ADTV box, in which test4 named channel was always there.....

Its not a actual channel. DTH OOPs can add any name in any slot in their STB. Once they add actual channel the actual name will appear. Dish TV also used to add few channels named as Test 2, test3 .... they will not appear in TPs.

but, I think the title is a lil misleading..... may be some data feed was temp. removed from this test4 named channel, but test4 name was never removed from adtv box.

Ppl may think that a new channel is under testing, named test4......its just a suggestion

Agreed bhat ji..... but all I m saying is, its not a new channel. Even on an adtv box, many test channels exists....like test2, test3 etc from a very long time, likewise...dis test4 also existed from a long time. The Post content says as Data channel itself. I will rename the title if its misleading. Actually its a new channel in the TP .

Its a new data channel named as "test4" So no misleading on this sure. I think people should read carefully and not come to conclution without understanding.
Reality is its a new channel added in the ADTV TP.
