Standby recording

Hi,

I have dish truhd+ connection. My settop box model is AF-8012H HD.

Standby recording is not working. Please help.

So don't put your STB on stand by mode.

I think it should work......so must be some problem.....better to log a complaint to get it checked.....

But is there any requirement to put STB on Stand By Mode ? if its power on from switch then obliviously it will consume electricity and also STB's supply will remain on and only channel will not work.

I agree with you but Standby mode is also required as one may want to go out & wants to record something so STB standby is required.

I never tries to record anything while Stand By Mode even when I go outside its remain on for recording.

That means you are wasting electricity for STB & may be for TV also............

Definitely switched off TV but STBs run.
