Hmm I think by 2016 T20 Cricket WC UHD will be fully active and TV prices also should have come down by then .. Right now I checked only LG and VU are somewhat cheaper .. VU is offering 55 inches UHD 4K for 95k sorts not bad ..

If only 7-8 matches are being offered on UHD then what's the use of UHD connection....? I mean why to pay only for few UHD matches when future content addition is uncertain.....?

That's what I am also saying and I think if they are launching UHD services then they will definitely add some uhd channels too along with Star Sports uhd channel

At this moment, telecasting all the matches in UHD might be very expensive. That is the reason even FIFA World Cup had UHD coverage only for S/F's and Finals
