BTW I think broadcasters would first think of channel addition on DTH before launching UHD channels.......

Any new Technology needs time to evolve. How was HD broadcasting 5 years back? very few events were covered in HD. Now most of the contents are being shot in HD

Still I feel launching only UHD box is not good thing as many HD DVR users are mainly prospective UHD viewers who would not like to go away with DVR functionality.....

Rs 6400 for new connection so TS could have launched UHD DVR @ Rs 10000......
or atleast enable ext recording......but I think TS would never go for ext PVR functionality....because they won't be able to make money....

No I have heard that they may launch uhd box with pvr before world cup and the price may be something around 10k

Also I had heard that they may launch Nat Geo UHD and Discovery UHD channel

UHD is still something very niche.....So better to have DVR now only.....

Would be worth buying if they launch a UHD DVR .. Why will I upgrade my HD DVR box for a non one ?? Also prices of 4K TV needs to come down before people start buying .. Right now they are too expensive ..
