Tooth, plastic in McDonald's meals in Japan

McDonald's Corporation officials in Japan bowed deeply on Wednesday to apologize for a human tooth, plastic pieces and other objects found in the burger chain's food, highlighting how consumers here are both loving and hating the popular fast-food eatery.

The hubbub over objects turning up in the food comes on the heels of a different kind of problem at the popular chain — a lack of fries, stemming from a shortage set off by labor disruptions on the US West Coast. Last year, McDonald's in China and Japan along with other fast food brands were hit by a scandal over expired meat from a Chinese supplier.

Its surprising that such kind of news keep appearing in media about McDonald's......Seems this is happening in many parts of the world....Russia banned McDonald's because of health / hygiene concerns after warning.....
Even some kind of reports appeared in media in India when McDonalds was launched....afair.....

$100,000 compensation per passenger, announces AirAsia

Families of those aboard Flight QZ8501 will receive roughly $100,000 (approximately Rs 63 lakh) in compensation per passenger, AirAsia says.

Indonesian officials today confirmed that the tail of the crashed AirAsia flight QZ8501 has been found in the Java Sea.

On Monday, Indonesian searchers had said they may have found what could be the tail, the section where the crucial black boxes are located.

"We found what has a high probability of being the tail of the plane," Yayan Sofyan, the captain of an Indonesian patrol vessel, said.

Flight recorders are very crucial for solving the mystery of the crash of the Airbus 320-200 on December 28 in the Java Sea while flying from Surabaya to Singapore.

Very costly mistake for AirAsia indeed....
First the flight from Indonesia was itself illegal according to some reports....
Then the pilot didn't receive weather report on time.....
Finally pilot was not allowed to raise the altitude by ATC.....
