3D tv was supposed to be a hit when it was launched but it didnt live upto the expectation and the contents are less( 3D BD are exceptions) So as of now it is supposed to be just wait and watch and dont shell out more money for the new technology and incase it fails to pickup.
HD-DVD lost the race to BD discs andthe customers are left in lynch after purchasing the HD-DVD players.
