I doubt anyone who is interested in 4K TV would go for Vidocon......
Any way Videocon can bundle their 4k box with UHD TV & expect increase in sale......
or they could launch UHD TV with built-in 4K STB........& offer an years D2H subscription free.......

I think they would have called all their Videocon and Philips TV customers and offered 4K services. So they must be counting those.

Only technicolor is making and exporting 4K STB in India at present. So both companies will be having 4K box of technicolor only.

Why not. You may own a Videocon 4K TV is just 70k which is quite economical and affordable too.I doubt anyone who is interested in 4K TV would go for Vidocon......

Well, why r all members doubting Videocon d2h in this matter? Had Tata Sky given this statement then i am sure reactions would have been different.
Reality is that Videocon d2h must having more Premium customers which is why they give so many HD channels, why would they waste bandwidth if they had a small HD customer base.
Unfortunately still most people think that only Tata Sky caters to Premium Customers which is not true. Videocon d2h has a good customer base in each segment of the society and they have done full justice to all which Tata Sky hasn't done.
As a matter of fact Videocon d2h subscriber base is growing at a much faster rate as compared to their competitors but yes they are not a pro like Tata Sky in marketing. Tata Sky has a force which does that very well and attracts customers while Videocon d2h believes more in doing things in reality which speaks for itself.

Yeah in near about future Mitashi, Abaj can launch UHD in LCDs rate then why one can go and purchase even Micromax and VU.
