Obviously because they must have imported limited number of boxes only. May be when demand arises, they would order and import more.
yes it's Limited Edition only..!!!so the first 1000 booked would get cut in the price and also the ad says it is the limited edition 4k stb.

From my Old experience of being early user of "QUALITY D2h HD DVR-4611 Ultec UEC"(may be 1000 as such) which were imported from South Africa by Videocon, at the time of launching HD services, it's good if you go for initial Pieces.!!!
As we know history these Pretty4611DVR never come in marker later..wheras as the below average HD 500GB-100GB DVRs- n STB were seen in market till date..!!!!
Let's see whether UHD takes off or breaks off like 3D.
I think it will break off as the number of customers opting for it will be less but if at all the prices of 4k tv then some may think of buying itLet's see whether UHD takes off or breaks off like 3D.
only the future holds the ans.I think it will break off as the number of customers opting for it will be less but if at all the prices of 4k tv then some may think of buying it
they have assembled the parts and chips which were imported at their plant
It's more rely on Demand and Supply(DTH Invest)TheoryWell just chill dear brothers, according to me 4K will take at least 3 to 4 years to even start growing. There r many issues from bandwidth constraint at DTH end and broadcaster end, high cost of running a UHD channel with less returns for the broadcasters as already even running a HD channel is a tough case bcoz people want price to be low, ads to be less and ultimately DTH ops and broadcasters have found a common way to come out of tis mess and they have bundled their SD and HD channels so that they get revenue from both end from HD customers which helps them offer HD at low cost plus in a market where still few people have opted for HD and HD is in nascent stage with few HD channels , i think UHD is far stretched step.
To be honest UHD is only for a little chunk of even the Premium Customers, u need 4K TV above at least 55 inches to even notice little difference between Full HD and 4K. So all in all i think no one would really take that much interest in UHD but yeah as people are not technically well aware so some may take 4K STB just for trying new technology but most of them will be unable to afford UHD Content and will ultimately just see HD and SD content on it till the market grows.
Right now even broadcasters r focused more on HD, UHD in my opinion will just account for 1 percent of sales
