win 7 and the higher versions do automatic repair so no problem even if you messed up with the driver.

Windows 7 is must bro. Just ensure your system runs on at least 2GB of RAM. If it has 4GB of RAM install 64 bit of Windows 7 Ultimate and if the the RAM is 2GB, 32 bit Windows 7 Ultimate will do.

I have got original Windows 8.1 installed on my laptop, it came preinstalled. But it is single language edition.
