I think the color tint differs from TV to TV brand. Also depends upon the DTH STBs .We can compare only same branded STBs in same DTH. always as differant color in differant STB, TVs.

Its not permitted in India.

Sir i think its not matter of permission, because in normal way, one c band transmission required a 6 feet dish + one lab+ 1 stb + hard installation/wire so total cost = 2300+400+600 for sd+ min 300, so min cost for sd c band is 3600.
If we think in other way its required much space on roof & not possible to install in apartment/buildings, so its costly & hard working process, so that's why DTH operators not used c band.

Earlier during the launch of Dish TV i read somewehere as only KU Band transmission is permitted to DTH .

This is just a start. Addition of more HD channels on existing TP space is proving that day by day Tata Sky is becoming more confident regarding GSAT - 10 and removing worry of space by adding channels.
