Sony PAL to shut on 13 February?

I don't see any reason to launch MAX HD any ways. After watching HD channel I noticed one thing that none of HD channel shows South dubbed movies and tries to provide original content where they used to treat SD channel as a time pass FTA channel keep on running South Movies. If STAR Gold and Movies OK where not own by STAR, DTH operators might remove these channels from their platform itself. Regarding MAX library I doubt they even have original contents to run or not they can't run HD channel by the name of YRF. After & Pictures they even lost a bit of space of Hollywood Dub Movies too.

The problem with Hindi movie HD channel is HD print. I don't know how many Hindi movies are digitally available in HD. That makes Hindi movie channels to air Hollywood dubbed movies, like &Pictures HD.

I thought a DVD or BD disk is like a digital print which they use to show in digital movie theatres......

Why all these networks try to emulate Star......why cann't they start first & then allow others to follow.....

The problem with Hindi movie HD channel is HD print. I don't know how many Hindi movies are digitally available in HD. That makes Hindi movie channels to air Hollywood dubbed movies, like &Pictures HD.

The hindi channels are broadcasting the movies in 1080i resolution so no doubt on that (new titles) and the older ones are either upscaled or rescanned again,

DVD is 720p and BD is 1080p and theatres are screening the movies in 2k format and some have upgraded to 4k projectors.
