I don't think there would be much hike in pricing because Tata Sky is presently providing services ate very reasonable rates. Even if they managed to cater the similar prices like competitors, people won't hesitate to switch to them.

tata sky is not reasonable in pricing im bhai, we have to pay Rs 600 to watch grand sports packs plus all hd channels plus ten sports, cricket and action. and we do not have amny hd and sd chs on tata sky

Don't look at only channels Dino Bhai. Count the Hardware and their services too. Their call center is very professional and I think this is the only DTH operator which has least number of consumer complaint regarding services.

I agree that their highest Package is costly but their lowest Package is quite economical.

yes i agree their hardware and cust care is very good but not as good as when they launched. if u ever see the strong thomson stb they provided when launched, man u will b surprised. that time tata sky sd costed 5000 rs but quality was top notch as other dth ops came and started giving korean stb, tata sky too started that , now their hd and sd stb quality is so so

tata sky is even relaying many chs in poor audio and video of many sd chs is over pixellated. even hd chs dont have that charm, videocon d2h hd and sd clarity is superb as compared to tata sky but the not so good stb of videocon d2h gives poor quality and bluish tone on most chs

It won't be Korean bro, instead must be using China Made Korea Assembled STB. Except China, remaining all countries are maintaining the Standard. It only China who is exporting Cheap, below Standard & hazardous gadgets in various countries and killing the home ground market.

I don't face bluish tone Dino Bhai. I am having Old DVR which is one of the Best Hardware of Videocon. But the issue is it never got software update since it has been manufactured. I have asked d2h many a times but they shoved me off with ridiculous reasons.
