the first batch of RF remote is HD2222 stb and that seems to be better in stability.

Hope someone will be able to give me some hint...
I recently upgraded to 2244 RF from the SD Box. After that, the SD channel quality has drastically come down. The HD channels are also not so good (there are pixelization at times). Can this be a problem with my set top box? I'm tired of calling the customer care (which I never had to do in the past 3 years while using the SD box). The customer care people just keep on repeating "sir, don't expect HD quality for SD channels". I know this fact very much, but what I asked them was at least the same SD quality which I used to enjoy before.

I don't think there was any issue with my box on SD channels. It may feel little different viewing SD channels via HDMI in beginning after moving from 4:3 box, but it becomes OK soon. Through HDMI picture are aligned in 16:9 ratio from the box itself, but in a SD box it was 4:3 from the box and TV was scaling it to 16:9.
