I watched the Roast last night and it's really filthy sluty and pathetic. I laughed only one one or two comments and those were not vulgar.

So, to make people laugh it's not necessary to use abuse and bad words. I discard such shows in India. If they are doing such it should not be available publically.

Also I noticed that most of the crowd was celebs. So may be they would be f**king their mothers and sisters at home. We don't do that and don't like someone else doing it.

Strict action should be taken to make these videos public.

Finally you watched and realised what I was talking about. As a voice over artist myself I know what this stupidity is all about and how hard is to make everyone happy. When I saw this show I really found it ridiculous I also got smile only in non veg jokes but not in the fu***ng jokes, even though Arjun, Ranveer, Karan, Deepika, Sonakshi, Alia tries to show that they're actually enjoying showing but those s****s don't know what exactly comedy is all about and because of this stupidity actually comedian kings like Raju Shrivastav are becoming forgotten heroes.

The expression and words which they used was not acceptable and it should have been kept as private video while uploading it on you tube

Now slowly all are realizing the seriousness of the matter..............because one has to think from others / religious / national perspective as far as these things are concerned......................;)
Now the producers & 'creative' artists behind AIB should apologize to public & agree to the punishment.......

But wait...........There are people who still want to question the persons who made Bhakchods apologize.......:D

Open letter to the Archbishop of Mumbai by a Catholic comedian: I wish we had turned the other cheek

The AIB comedy group apologised to the head of the Mumbai Catholic church for jokes during its recent 'roast' that some Christians claimed were offensive. That shouldn't have been necessary, says a fellow stand-up.

His Lordship,

In wake of the AIB fiasco, I would sincerely like to communicate a few points as a Christian and as an Indian.

I do not know if the apology from the AIB comedians was asked for, or if they apologised voluntarily. That is not pertinent. I really wish we had rejected their apology and said it was irrelevant. It was such a great opportunity to show the world that our faith is about love, tolerance and forgiveness. We could have led the way and dismissed it as a non-issue. Their jokes, no matter how disturbing or offensive to some people, are of no consequence to us. No consequence at all.

I wish we had turned the other cheek. I wish that instead of accepting an apology, we in turn told them that no apology was needed and that we are not interested in such trivial matters. The parties that were offended could have simply made their displeasure known. A couple of jokes, no matter how offensive, do nothing to diminish our faith and really should not affect us in any way. Even a million jokes can't do that.

We could have gone out of our way to tell them we take no offence and that we forgive them, maybe they didn't know what they were doing.

Sincerely,
Jose Covaco
