SONY PAL started very dry, Even Zindagi got better opening then PAL. Biggest problem was of SONY PAL are platform and then contents which is not at all suited for all the category. SONY PAL was absent from dishtv's base pack for almost 3 months which no new channel wants to see such bad opening also no serial make any headline because all having same common funda with no story once you don't know the plot you will make such mess ups.
Women Centric channels should always have Cookery shows, Talkative shows, Women Empowerment based shows, Quiz shows. They did bought Raveena Tondon and Juhi Chawla for those but Women completed neglected because their was no chance to extend it. Basically Women centric channel was completely a bad idea and it don't favours viewers.

Its a one of the reason, if SONY doesn't cares about platform and reach then they never comes to Free Dish also. Its about maximum reach when Rishtey was launched they knows that its a rerun channel and want maximum reach to cash Ads hence they bided in for slot in Free Dish and got a brand opening infront of DD and dishtv users. Though Indiacast people said nothing about its present in dishtv during launching but they knows that they did their work, if channel and specially GEC not able to reach to each and every platform then only God can help Broadcaster and its success.

even in absence of particular dth platform, the TRP should vary in minimal range but this channel has failed to take off in analog market too as still cable connection is a majority. Channels got present in all platforms yet they wound up the operation due to less TRPs.
