India has so many channels but content wise we r a big 0. I like documentaries and Travel Shows but they r hardly aired on TV. Waiting for the day when Travel Channel US, BBC Entertainment, BBC Lifestyle, BB Knowledge launch in India

The first thing is these channels dont need the HD feed which is a burden for us also as aumnamonarayan said, we got umpteen number of gecs.

Yes Techno bro, i hardly watch these Hindi GEC's but i pay for all of them. I wish DTH operators come out with Specific packages, one which contain all Hindi Channels, one with only English Channels and one with Hindi and English Channels. Along with it they should give 3 Free Regional Top Ups. This will give customers much more choice and we will pay for what we want. The A La Carte system which try made the DTH Operators to comply is an eyewash as taking channels separately proves many times more costly

Sanjeev bro, yes that too we can only hope. I have least hopes till Mr. Nagpal is at the helm of affairs. Previous CEO Mr. Kaushik was awesome, he added new channels very fast but yes he too kept prices high, infact he had packs like Lifestyle Gold and Cosmo which needed to be taken separately above highest package
