Update &tv on Hathway Hyderabad

ChaiBiskutBhai, thanks for the update.
recently we moved from bangalore to hyderabad and i took the hathway connection.
but we are not getting the &TV channel and today i sent an email to the nodal officer of hyderabad and he said that all the channels are active on my set top box. but channel number 312 is not displayed. only channel 310 and 313 are coming but missing 312.

looks like my LCO not activated or something else ?

what could be the problem ?

do i need to update frequency in my set top box ..any changes i can make ?

problem is your LCO has not submitted KYC form to hathway haded office.That is the reason we are not getting 100+ channels.you can see those details in hathwat info channels. pressure your LCO to submit ur KYC forum.then only you will get all channels.

then i think i must ask my LCO directly.

But the Nodal officer replied something like this " All the plans on your stb are showing activated pls give me your address I would ask your cable operator to visit you ".

now i am waiting for the cable operator to visit me.

Lets see how it goes now.

compare to other networks , hathway is wonderfull network and even when i was in bangalore i took hathway their too.

they give major channels in Less fee .

even today when i wrote mail to nodal officer of hathway hyderabad, he replied fastly and given very good response.

must appreciate the hathway network.

you dont know about the Hyderabad bro.this city is neglected by hathway. there is no increasing of HD channels since long time..No dolby sound in some HD channels where as added Dolby in Bangalore,No packages,not even good amount of SD channels.most of LCOs are not submitting KYC forums because they want hide the customers details because if they submit they will loose margin.ask to Nodal officers why they are neglecting hyderabad in terms of HD channels count and what is their future plan.lets see what is their response.

but bhaskarkilli, i am sorry i cannot accept with this statement of yours that " HATHWAY LCO are hiding customer details".
For example today when i wrote mail to Nodal officer, he replied asking my STB MAC Address and S/N.
Then when i submitted it, the nodal officer immediately replied saying that " All the plans on your stb are showing activated pls give me your address I would ask your cable operator to visit you ".

If my LCO did not submit the KYC form then how could the Nodal officer knows about the channel plans activated on my STB or not, tell me ?

May be some LCO might be hiding customer details But not my LCO i think so. I cannot doubt on him right now because my LCO took the MAC and S/N of my STB 2 months back only and this was taken in all houses of my Locality by the LCO.

But still some problem is their and due to that Only i am not getting &TV channel yet.

My Personal feeling is that If HATHWAY can start giving DTH directly Like TATA SKY or DISH TV or RELIANCE like this if they can start giving DTH directly instead of LCO then many problems get solved for the customers...

Direct DISH on the Home by HATHWAY .....is'nt it good idea Bro ?



Any How HATHWAY started HD Channels separately like tata sky/dish tv/relaince/videocon and even SD chanels separately i think they should go for DISH transformation instead of LCO cables.

You are new to this city and new to this forum.Please read all the posts in hathway section you will get to know what is happening in the city.Still I am saying LCOs are hiding customers details for big margins.hathway is pressuring to LCOs for submitting KYC forums.this fight is happening since ages.
hathway having customers details is different and submitting KYC form is different.For SD channels activation there is no need of hathway HO,LCO can activate it but for HD channels LCO has to go to hathway HO and nee to activate HD channels but still you will not get those 100+ channels unless untill your KYC forum will submit to hathway HO.Same is happening to me.
you are saying that your LCO has submitted KYV form.OK..do one thing just check .Sun Music,Sun life,Music india,Music express,RVC,& TV, ect these channels are coming are not.I am given few of channels as example out of 100+ channels.if these are channels coming..Yes..Your LCO has submitted KYC form..if not I must say NO.
