I don't think that each channel addition requires price hike as carriage fees are also involved................
Price hike due to channel addition is an excuse given by certain DTH & seems to be deliberately done along with spreading news / rumours......................we can check history of price hikes by different DTH................
I think price hike has more to do with growing ARPU..............

Anyways I believe that pressure should be put heavily on DTH from all sides for all these things..............:thumbsup:

There must be some regulation appointed by TRAI and Govt. who keep on checking on ARPU and Profit of operators.

Since at one hand Veinketeish keep on asking Govt. to reduce Taxes and other hand TS and ADTV making profit by spending less on channels and charging more from Customers because of DTH Association.

Tweeted just now to Ten Sports on Twitter about inclusion of TEN Network channels in Supreme Sports and Grand Sports Base Package of Tata Sky. They have replied that they will look into it. Also told them that in other DTH platforms all TEN Network channels are available at packages costing less than Rs. 300.

So overall sent mails to Tata Sky many times, sent feedback to Ten Network. Finger Crossed

Tweet to Ten Sports too and write a mail to them too. Even at first i got standard replies from TV5 Monde and Airtel but ultimately it beared fruit
