One More Channel From Ramoji!

Ramoji Rao is apparently planning to come out with a new entertainment channel soon. Industry sources say that the name 'ETV Plus' has been finalized for the new channel.

Although the ETV group has channels in many languages, it is ETV in Telugu that is the most profitable. The new channel would cater to entertainment lovers with a host of reality shows and serials.

Where ETV Plus would probably be on the back foot compared to other Telugu entertainment channels is in content acquisition of movies.

ETV has lagged behind MAA, ZEE or Gemini is in acquiring satellite rights of Telugu movies. But recently ETV experimented with a new format of revenue sharing on its channel whereby a movie would be aired on their network and the revenues would be shared between ETV and the producer.

It is win_win situation for both channel and producers.So why producer council will interfere his.If they interfere then small producers ask them to allot theaters which is not happening.so it is a good secenario actually.

Finally ETV PLUS is coming which was keep on delayed for some unknown reasons.

those are not included but the one registered in the producer council has to be released in theatres.

This is different bro.This one applicable to big movies..if a big movie will come in TV with in month hen distributors will get loss.but what the small films will do??They Are not getting theatres nd they are not able to released.So there is no problem with distributors infact there in no distributors.so no problem.
