The point here is whether BBC violated law of the land & code of conduct..............Considering every aspect it becomes clear that BBC, its producers & their Indian agents / partners violated law, disclosed victim's identity, made fame & money out of a docu film for which permission was given on non-commercial basis.......
Do you really believe the words of the Indian govt?
Its not about govt version, its about Indian law & rules.............& its very clear about this........Would you like any foreign entity to come here & break the law as per their own wish............?
Everyone can have their POV............but country doesn't run on POV..............as there are laws, rules & regulations to govern...................So if someone especially a foreign entity like BBC is violating the law then it has to be taken very seriously.............
So called the POV had risen to the amendments of law
Then its very good if govt is forced to improve laws & working conditions for women...........
Just consider if any Indian media company did this in UK or US..............First of all they wouldn't have allowed it even on non-commercial basis........
Would Indian media do it in the first place?
Indian media is regulated by Indian laws & they have done as far as they can even though we can blame it for TRP................That doesn't mean foreign media should be given free hand & allowed to break the law.............
I think its good thing that India is showing anger & venting frustration..............which is not the case in many western countries................This shows the ray of light & hope only in India.................
this ray of light and hope is nothing but a fake pride, just get up from the dream bro and in many developed countries there are protests and frustrations going on
Then its better..........to have protests which would help eliminate all this......but the Indian protests after the incidents were unprecedented in the world for which Time has also has taken note for......
Now the question is whether to allow such docu film or not...................Even after considering realily on the ground & facts...........there has to be introspection within the country but at the same time India should not allow other countries like UK to malign the image further.............
Atleast this maign would bring a further restriction and safety for women
Maligning the image as the tool of foreign policy is always bad...........Would you allow your neighbour to malign your image openly even if you are on wrong side...............?
Again the question remains that why western countries like US & UK have so much violence & rape crimes against women.............as the situation is much more grave in their own country..........
