IM Bro also my point can be proved by the fact that till now Vertical TP's have not been added on the STB or NIT so why did the customers face signal issue when vertical polarity was turned on? Why would switching on signals on a diff satellite whose transponders have not been added on stb create signal issues on horizontal transponders from which u r getting the signals on the stb.

The reason is what i mentioned in previous post

as aumnamonarayan informed, ToI reports about TS blackout.................
Nagpal seems to be generalizing the issue.......but the question is why this happened with TS..............D2H also successfully added channels / 4k channel without any hindrance to the users....

"Tata Sky subscribers across the country faced inconvenience for the second straight day on Thursday as their television screens went blank without warning. There was no respite from the DTH service provider's customer service too as helplines went dead. And now it seems the problem is likely to continue for another two days for a section of subscribers.

People were quick to take to Twitter to vent their ire. "Tata Sky is still behaving like TataSigh!" tweeted one angry customer. "

""The signals were reversed back to the old format this afternoon and our technicians will be visiting these customers over the next two days to realign their antennae. Customers will obviously not be charged for this service visit."

It seems that this is not the first time such an exercise has been carried out by the company. "Similar processes carried out over 3-4 occasions over the last year or so have helped the company add 80 new channels on the same bandwidth," Nagpal said."
