Article IMCL restores signals of Star channels to Telangana cable ops

Multi-system operator (MSO) IndusInd Media and Communications (IMCL) has restored signals of Star India channels to local cable operators (LCOs) affiliated to Telangana Cable Operators Federation (TCOF).

Accordingly, the Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT) has disposed of the TCOF’s petition against the MSO.

TCOF had moved the TDSAT against IMCL for unauthorised deactivation of Star India channels. The federation had written a grievance letter to the tribunal, which was treated as a petition.
