Congress workers and Rahul Gandhi’s loyalists In Gorakhpur on Monday demanded a meeting of the Congress working committee to elect him as the party’s chief and replace Sonia Gandhi.

The party lawmakers gathered at Munshi Premchand Park and addressed a letter, written with their blood to Congress president Sonia Gandhi, urging her to take the decision of making Rahul Gandhi the boss of the party. They also demanded that Priyanka Gandhi Vadra be made the general secretary of Congress.
