i think its related to SW of STB. U can see instant addition and removal of channels in TS STB. no need to scan or restart. I dont know how it works with ADTV as same Encryption but in other we has to do mannualy as i seen many posts in forums. Also know whats happening in Dish TV, Sun Direct. I think RDTV too has to be restarted to get new channels.

in airtel no time delay.but i have experienced on d2h it will take more time for OTB update.

I think Both have dynamic update in their SW. that may be teh reason off Updating instantly..

But I have heard that software can be updated via Pen Drive too. In fact i had many a times upgraded my LED Software via Pen Drive only.
