Patna police seized two drones that were surveying Gandhi Maidan ahead of Nishad rally, and arrested two persons in connection with the case.
The rally organisers did not have the permission from authorities to make use of these drones. As they were spotted and the matter was reported to police, cops reached the spot and seized the drones.
According to SSP Jitendra Rana, no private company in India has the authority to use drone cameras in public places. For this, a permission has to be sought from the Union Home Ministry.
