You can't expect DVR from them, as they're using Monoblock LNB for HD Satellite.

And there is clueless discussion that whether Mono Block LNB can even have Dual Ports or not ?

So situation is same either enjoy 23 HD channel with DVR, or 43 HD channel without DVR.

Even if dishtv not able to provide DVR technically they should work on Hardware. Currently people are compares dish box with tiffin box, so box should be big, heavy in size and bit costly just like old days to attract people. I hope dishtv working on such home made heavy, costly box.

Also dishtv should work on 5.1 channel biggest headache for HT subscriber. Problem is that they're not striking at right place and wants to remain ignorant on many things.
