A village in Khargone district is observing the death and celebrating the birth anniversary of Nobel laureate Albert Einstein for 25 years without fail.
According to a report in Times of India, like every year, Mandleshwar village kept its date with it and observed 60th death anniversary of great scientist on Saturday. The village is sticking to the practice since 1990 at an initiative of then high court judge MW Dev.
Programme convener Sanjeev S Moyade said 100 people of Mandleshwar and nearby places participated in the programme. Sardar Patel Institute of Technology director Sanjay Garg was chief guest and poet Jagdish Jwalant presided over the programme.
