Separatist leaders Yasin Malik and Masarat Alam were detained on Tuesday while they were on their way to Tral district of South Kashmir where protests broke out over the killing of a youth. Two people have been injured in clashes between protesters and security forces.
During the clash, protesters reportedly snatched an AK-47 rifle of a CRPF soldier.
