News Nick unveils content and marketing plan for summer

With almost 30 per cent of its revenue coming from the April–June quarter, Viacom18’s kids network Nick has unveiled an ambitious marketing and content plan for summer for its three channels. Nick has launched a campaign called ‘Motu Patlu Hero Hunt’ around its tent-pole show ‘Motu Patlu’. This will allow fans to get animated and star in ‘Motu Patlu’ on television. To promote the campaign, Nick has put in place a 360-degree rollout plan across the country including cross-channel plan, print, ambient, digital and a whole host of experiential touch points to engage with kids. Kids will get an opportunity to interact with the animated Motu and Patlu on a live screen at malls. They will be given an animated avatar so as to have a conversation with Motu and Patlu using augmented reality.
