You could be correct bro, but i am saying what i have heard from Car Experts. I personally don't have any idea. My family members who own Diesel cars felt that maintenance is high as compared to Petrol cars but i must say that those are 4-5 years old card.

even i had some people, maintenance charge is high for diesel but go for it as you can save few bucks for long trip.

Nai Ganesh bhai. My Car will be used very less. Only 10-20 Km per day and that too not daily.

Gnaesh Bhai many other options are there:

Nissan Sunny: 1.5 L, approx 21 km/l, 8.11-8.93 lakhs
Skoda Rapid: 1.6 TDI, approx 20 km/l, 8.2-9.7 lakhs
Renault Scala: 1.5 L, approx 21 km/l, 8.6-9.7 lakhs

All the prices mentioned are ex-showroom prices...

Sunny & Scala are same versions under different brands...

So in my personal view Nissan Sunny is a good option in all aspects...
