Technicolor HD box have the provision for external USB, i guess post migration to MPEG 4 & Satellite they may activate this as well.

I dont think they will do it bcoz there DVR quality is best and they dont want customers to buy TS HD box and get the facilities of recording.....

They want to sell there hd+ STB more.

however every customer cannot afford or will not be ready to invest in a STB worth 4K - 7K so they will have to activate it in normal HD Technicolor as well, my hunch

Agree but they hav feeling that there customers r premium, so they dont hesitate to take stb at 4k or 7k....
