Breaking News SD box software update

My RDTV SD box has been updated and found no changes in anything.
Can somebody tell me for what is this software update?

I think this software update has fixed bugs and when i saw the update,i hoped red theme would be changed but

Just now talked to CC and as per them, this update is to focus mainly on the privacy and improving security as well as preventing misuse of the STB's. Today the SD STB's got updated and when I asked about mine (HD), he informed me that it will be from 4:00 AM on wards tomorrow. No HD channel addition in the near future...

If so r they started to pair VC+STB ? AFAIK RDTV Can be watched in any STBs [RDTV] .they have not paired .

Rdtv stbs are paired with smartcards from 2011 itself.

I think no as i used the VC in another STB and got the channels. Issue is if we didnt confirmed the change of STB in CC that will give trouble if any fault arises.
Surely it was not paired in early 2011.

new stbs are paired as mine was paired. My old smartcard was paired with new stb as a replacement of old stb.

Ok, I was having STB 1 Model and was not paired .
