One thing to remember is if you have to increase the battery life then let it be full charged and then only use it also try to avoid using the laptop while charging it as it reduces battery life as from one side you are charging it and from other side it is discharging making it hot

That's not possible. My laptop charge in 5 hours. How can I sit idle for these many hours bro. And I don't think there is any such authentic logic behind this

But whenever laptop is getting hot while charging and using try to not use it for some time as it may damage the battery life

Laptop heating problem is never because of battery bro. It's because of less RAM, hard disk issue and irregular functions of cooling fan.
