I Think all DTH oops r repairing and may be replacing the repaired STB most of the time. in rare cases they r replacing with new ones.

Mine Brother d2h Box was replaced with New One. But who knows only the Outer Body would be new and inside it would have Old Hardware.

But generally they have good quality boxes.

Mine TS HD STB Was replaced with new one after few months . this will not happen to all faulty STBs in all DTH ops. RDTV replaced with Repaired STB even after 1 week of new connection .
they r replacing the whole board itself while repairing . may be very few instances repairing the faulty parts.

TS is not manufacturing boxes in India and importing them. So, they might replace it completely. Correct me of I am wrong.

rdtv replaced mine with new one for rs.500

yes they r replacing after warrenty period and charging very less .
Mine was replaced Free off cost.
Engineer visited 30 min back.Hardware faulty. Replaced with an another box. They say its a new box,But it doesn't came in general new package.Rather in a brown paper box.So its 100% sure that its a repaired box,not new. Charged 350 for the new box from account.
The best thing is after knowing my problem they came with a replacement box.So they solved the problem in 1st time. This is why I love TS..
