There will not be any increase in Picture Quality in MPEG4. By using MPEG4 DVBS2, DTH operators can carry more channels as it takes only half the bandwidth compared to MPEG2

For eg : If on a MPEG2 transponder, DTH is transmitting 25 SD channels, then using MPEG4 DVBS2, they can transmit 50 SD channels
