i guess so, as SWP is giving the latest content compared to star world as it airs the shows six months later or older ones.

That means SW is like other repeater channels .....like Star Utsav....

My guess is that RIO is not that much successful for Star as expected.....I think MSOs are doing everything to defeat the very purpose of RIO....except Hathway...

So except Hathway and DEN no operator supporting RIO...

It looks like....Recently I read somewhere that Star eng channels distribution has become as low as 30% after RIO....

The reason i opted for DTH is, the eng channels were missing in my analog connection.

So what's the success rate of STAR overall if their channels are struggling in RIO then how much the subscription rate of SWP HD then ?

I think Star is trying to cushion other channels like FX, NGC....using their popular channels.....
As their CEO boasted recently that they are the leaders in the industry & even #2 is nowhere near .....
Lets see how their new channels perform after launch.....But I don't thing more than SWP.....

Even if they're repeating series tat doesn't mean everyone opting SWP HD, if their English failing only because of SWP HD then whats the fate of STAR Movies then ?

But English GEC not even in Top 3, Movies Channels, Infotainment Channels and Sports Channels are trialling similarly in Hindi movies, except Hindi GEC where they're no. 1 ?

Their attitude is totally different from others....I think STAR won't just launch channels, seat & watch how market responds.....they will either make the channel successful or try to turn the industry their own way.....They have made Star Sports successful & indispensable....& they have to show $ 1 Bn profit @ 2020....
