Comedy Central HD added at LCN 212

TS can add it since channel name is comedy central and comedy central is in list of permitted tv channels. Similary every broadcaster can launch HD channel in same license but they cannot use HD word in it for that they need to get new licencse.You can check latest list of MIB permitted channels when it is released Comedy central HD won't be there just like how you will see MTV Indes HD EPIC HD MTUNES HD is not there over here.

MTUNES, EPIC & MTV Indies are having single feed on C band and DTH operators are downscaling the feed for carrying their SD counterparts.

Can somebody confirm whether Comedy Central HD is carrying the same feed as its SD counterpart including ads?

That's not the logic bro. M Tunes HD carried HD logo till last year. Also any channel can anytime give notification to MIB and convert SD license to HD and vice versa

But think is feed are same in both SD and HD, so tats a reason 1 license is there very soon every broadcaster will upgrade their channel in HD only so no need of acquiring separate license all the time.
