Hindi people treat always dubbing movies as b grade movies.they don't bother about south dubbed movies but if they remaked with star heroes then there is huge collection.Mumbai people give some chance to dubbed films but north and east states give a damn to south dubbed movies.

Tat because South Actors are not interested to do Bollywood movies and they simply let the movie for dubbing, South Actors wants to become Minister in Centre but not wants to do movies in Bollywood, if Dhanush's movies getting audience tat because he actually did 1 - 2 original Bollywood movies does you expect same success with Vijay who not wants to do a single original movie in Bollywood ?

Coming to dhanush he choosed perfect script for first film and got hit in 2nd film done overacting hence rejected.
Vijay is super star in tn but he doesn't have market out side tn,his movies never run well in Telugu.surface,contaminated,ajith,kamal,rajini having market out side tn.

In fact I heard stories during my school days that even singers like yesudas were threatened not to sing hindi songs as the respective artists feel he may eat into their market. Now things are different after ICL that we see many artists from South India are acting Bollywod movies and vice versa.

Those days very few singers that is the reason monopoly was there.top singers did not give the chances to junior singers.still kannada film industry won't allow dubbed films,we have seen malayalam heroes done rally against shakeela.

Yeah good script, good performance needed, Dhanush having name in Bollywood now at least he dubbed will grab some eyeballs. But Rana's Bahubali making headlines because its a costly no where I saw anything good about Rana. Also still Rana is a side Hero in Bollywood because of his language problem. South peoples can survive in Bollywood we all knows the history but they don't wants to put a effort.

Vijay is popular in kerela and his movies are big hit there. Aside the fact, one would concentrate on their own languages only.

It looks like Bahubali is mythology based....It shows that such type of movies are having great demand & potential if planned properly....
As second part is already scheduled, means most chances of being hit again....
