Tata Sky launching new channels from GSAT 10 on december 28th (Discarded)

I am happy because I am getting 22 HD channels. I can't understand how can Tata Sky HD users are still with it.

I think recently published interview of ADTV CEO tells the story. In forthcoming phases of digitisation DTH's are focusing on SD customers. They see more chances on areas where there is no cable available (e.g. rural area). He also mentioned, HD customers are just 1 Million, and nonone is really interested at the moment to allure HD customers (barring D2H). I have very limited hope that GSAT-10 will also make much change in Tata Sky's strategy. They will perhaps still be slow on adding channels, as they are doing fine on overall SD channels (except for Kerla and Tamilnad). But however, let's see when GSAT-10 comes, and if something really great happens after its availability.

Yes Shiwesh I agree with you ... None of these providers plus even local cable guys are interested to add HD channels .. Example I would like to give is that in Bombay one of the biggest cable operators Incable has just 8 HD channels and no DVR Box which is shocking to say the least .. I thought that when digitization kicked in these guys would go all out but they shocked me with their attitude towards HD channels and DVR Boxes ..

New sd and hd channels coming soon tatasky..jst got a call from tatasky customer care...dey said that they have got transponder frm, gsat10 and very soon a bunch of channels will be added...just wait for some time....i guess tatasky vil add channels just as videocon d2h did....

are u sure that customer care said that tata sky has got the tps from gsat 10 or its just fake news coz cc dont know about gsat 10 latst news

bangalore cc said that they hav got update that new channels will soon be launched and they hav got gsat10 transponders...
but they dnt hav update when and which channels will be launched....

but just now i asked the cc regarding gsat 10 tps and new channels they told that as of now they dont have any updates on gsat 10 so thats why i asked you about that if it is true what u are saying it will be very good but we are hearing that from last 3 months that new channels will be added from gsat 10 but still nothing happened so dont take me wrong i am just asking ayou about it
