UP: 6-year-old found murdered, family says she was raped

A six-year-old girl was allegedly raped and strangulated to death in Baddapur village in Maholi area of Sitapur district, police said.

The body of the girl, who was missing since last night, was found in a field this morning, they said. The police is probing the matter and have sent the body for post-mortem.

Delhi Metro Security Personnel Shoots Himself at Station

A CISF constable deployed on Delhi Metro's airport express line committed suicide early Thursday by shooting himself with his service rifle, police said.

Mukesh Kumar, 40, of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), shot himself dead around around 3 am while he was on duty at the New Delhi station.

"The constable was taken to the nearby Lok Nayak Jayaprakash Narayan Hospital, but was declared dead on arrival," a senior Delhi Police officer told IANS.

A 16-year-old girl from Ghaziabad was allegedly abducted and gang-raped by three men in Noida on Wednesday evening.

The minor, a class 10 student, was on her way back from tuition when she was allegedly picked up by three men in a Scorpio.

She was thereafter allegedly taken to Noida, gang-raped, and then dumped back near her house. The victim regularly went for tuitions around 4-5 PM.
