Star Jalsha is looking to strengthen its non-fiction content with new shows. Living up to its brand philosophy of ‘Chalo Paltai’ (Let’s Change), the channel had launched ‘Bhyabachaka’ based on the popular format game show ‘Disturb’ from the UK. The show was launched in Bengal for the first time and airs from 8 to 9 pm on Sunday. The line-up also included a cookery show, ‘Ebar Jalsha Rannaghare’, airing from 7 to 7:30 pm on Sunday. Besides recipes, the show will feature latest fashion trends, designers and stylists giving makeovers to Jalsha leads, unplugged solo performances by singers of Bengal, special episodes with celebrities from the tinsel town and more. The third show launched by the channel is ‘I Laugh U 3’. It is an old Star Jalsha format packaged in a new way with an increased dose of laughter and entertainment.
