‘Bigg Boss 9′ set to hit screens in Oct with Salman Khan; Colors ropes in main sponsors
The ninth season of ‘Bigg Boss’ is set to hit the TV screens in October with Bollywood actor Salman Khan back as host on Colors. Although the rumour mills are abuzz over the list of contestants and the theme this season, Colors has already gone ahead and signed sponsorship deals for the show. For the second year in a row, Colors has brought on board Snapdeal as the presenting sponsor. In the eighth season, the e-commerce player had replaced telecom major Vodafone as the main sponsor for the show. Meanwhile, Oppo Mobile is also back as the powered-by sponsor. In the previous season, Colors had created a special ‘driven-by’ sponsor category for Maruti Suzuki. It remains to be seen if the channel will continue with the same this year as well.
