Yes, Till now no confirmation of HBO channel addition on d2h.

It will take time and there should be enough demand too as both these channels are paid and will lead to rise in package price.

Well, I guess- HBO channels are premium ones and will be charged @ Rs 49 at least. Will the ppl who demand these channels be ready to pay more? Once the channels are added these same guys will begin demanding to add these channels to existing base packs which is absolutely not possible for any DTH because the channels have been priced according to their premium status by the broadcaster itself. So do these ppl expect D2h to offer us the channels free or at lower price and incur loss?

This is the reason,other dths aren't adding ngc hd channels.Dish tv hdpackage is costly for this.
Now i doubt about hdfeed on other dths except dish tv.

These channels not not coming any time soon on Videocon d2h. All those who are claiming its addition on various sources and forums are false and baseless.

As confirmed with my sources, there isn't any initiative from either side regarding these channels addition . Also, at these stages, Videocon is in no mood to increase package pricing by adding these channels.

come FY 2013- fy 2014.... you can expect some sensation from this dormant volcano ...i just got a hint from HBO from the message i receive from their FB is that the HD would be added end of march early April....nest financial year should be a year of consolidation and we can expect few channel to be plugged off as tax regime strengthen ....STB not getting any cheaper so do not expect major discount from any DTH operator ....
my expectation from D2H for Fy 2013 -2014
VOD
Additional feature like USB recording, software up-gradation for attaining better efficiency
HD VOD .... and HD break free music channel
International channel
increase in subscription for better service
HD channel count should reach at-least 30+
and god for shake better and sensible customer service executive and service engineers...
