Additional feature like USB recording, software up-gradation for attaining better efficiency
HD VOD .... and HD break free music channel
International channel
increase in subscription for better service
HD channel count should reach at-least 30+
and god for shake better and sensible customer service executive and service engineers...

Well, your expectation are quite high bro but not all you mentioned gonna happen till 2014.

1. USB PVR functionality is on testing as earlier OTA gt failed. Testing is supposed to be completed by 2nd week of march which will be followed by OTA on all HD boxes.

2. A new jazzy HD box will soon be launched which will be smallest, and strong than earlier ones. This box will be USB recording and will carry new remote too with recordings related buttons.

3. 2-3 transponders are expected to be added soon out of which one will be dedicated for HD and remaining for SD.

4. After the addition of transponders we can expect Zee Premier, Zee Action and other useless channels which are with d2h but not on platform due to space issue.

Regarding HBO Hits and HBO Defined, I re iterate that there has been no discussion between both the parties. Once HBO approach, then only addition is expected . And even if its added either package price will increase or they will be added as add on only.

Not sure as these are unconfirmed news from my friend but it will be launched latest by April 2013.

Along with that a KIT will also be introduced which will contain Pendrive, Remote having recording feature once USB PVR is launched.

One more thing, USB PVR on SD Box is also in testing more and may be rolled out soon after HD box is successfully updated.

Another thing is they are also testing Dolby digital sound via HDMI to TV.Mite be it will come with new STB or software updation.

Yes, Its already available in New DVR. So, I guess it will be available in new HD boxes too.

Ok I hope this new STB will not have many flaws on recording as u had said once in your previous posts that recording programs is a bit edgy currently in dvr boxes of videocon ... and this has made me stick with tatasky because recording programs is no issue .. biggest issue with tatasky is number of channels ..

Even I am expecting stability in coming STB. My current DVR quite outdated an d2h never released any software update for its earlier model. But again USB PVR doesn't fulfill my need as I need a recorder which can record and show another simultaneously.

agreed Im Bhai but for this we would require 2 tuners I doubt we only get it on TS and airtel HD DVRs as of now

I am planning to analyse my channel viewing and look for alternative. Due to on going rift between ESS and ADTV , I would be left with only option ie tata sky.
