News broadcaster New Delhi Television (NDTV) is focused on diversifying in the digital and e-commerce space even as it tries to turn around news, its core business, despite lower ad growth and higher carriage cost. NDTV has managed to reduce its fiscal second quarter consolidated as well as standalone net loss mainly on the back of revenue increase and tight control on the operative and administrative expenses. Consolidated net loss (after taxes, minority interest and share of associate) in the quarter ended 30 September 2015 stood at Rs 17.19 crore (Rs 171.9 million), compared to a net loss of Rs 26.89 crore (Rs 268.9 million) a year ago.

Media is not doing its homework and real work these days. They are all busy generating TRP by presenting anything which would bring them money. They have gone to a new low in India.
