First of all its the duty of every citizen to keep their country, state, city, village clean. Now if the people cant keep it clean by doing volunteer work, then the govt needs to do it. Implementing a 0.5% tax for Swatch bharat is for the process of keeping the surroundings clean.

Now regarding GST, the govt wants to pass the GST, but the opposition wont let them do. If it gets passed, all unnecessary taxes will be gone. Which will inturn bring the price of commodities down.

Then let this tax be implemented and started first from President, PM, MP, MLA, MLC, SDO etc etc and then on public.

If we gonna pay tax for such separate projects then why the hell they are wasting everyone time in parliament for GST.

Because everything is getting costlier 10 times in one year itself. If Modi or BJP continued to be in power for 10 years things will be 100 times costlier.
